Mall Tool Company was established by Arthur W. Mall on January 1, 1921. The first item produced by this manufacturer was a pneumatic sanding and polishing wheel, which needed a handheld power tool in order for it to revolve. 6This became the starting point for the company with regards to the distribution of different handheld machines in the market. Mall Tool Company became popular for these kinds of devices that they were able to produce. There were various kinds of mechanisms to which these tools are powered and these were: gasoline, electric, and pneumatic. However, after the progressive years of Mall Tool Company, they were bought and taken over by Remington in 1956.
