Indian Chainsaws is one of the well-known manufacturers of chainsaws at Crystal Lake, Illinois and this company started in the year 1953 when the Luther Corp. sold their own version of the Clinton model 3A in the market. In 1955, Indian Chainsaw was born as the Magnaflux Corp created this new group, next to the older Luther Corp. The first chainsaw under Magnaflux’s new group was model 351D, which was released in the same year of Indian’s creation. Indian first chainsaw, model 351D, has an advertised H.P. of 3.5 horsepower and its engine displacement is 77 cubic centimeters. Later on, Indians Chainsaws was able to produce more valuable designs of chainsaws.
