This one-man-operated vintage chainsaw was made by Homelite Corporation in 1965 and its production was halted a year after it was first released. Homelite XL-500 has an ignition timing of 30 degrees before top dead center and it is built with a position stator plate that turns fully clockwise during engine start-up. This handheld gasoline-powered gadget is heavier than usual that it weighs 6.3 kilograms.
